Vascular Technology eCourse Designed by the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and Pegasus Lectures, this course provides a comprehensive resource for ultrasound professionals desiring to improve their knowledge of vascular ultrasound and/or prepare for the vascular technology credential(s). The course, created in a flexible, modular format, consists of four sections: Arterial, Cerebrovascular, Venous, and Vascular Test Principles.

The unique Pegasus Direct delivery platform allows the participant to view modules at their convenience, print notes, and even create their own review session. During viewing of the core modules, the participant utilizes a playlist which allows for bookmarking areas of weakness or of particular interest for review. The player software recalls the participant’s bookmarks, creating a customized review, specific to each participant’s individual’s needs.

Vascular Technology ExamSim Program
Prepare for your registry with confidence! The Vascular Technology ExamSim utilizes a patented Intelligent Analysis algorithm to determine the participant’s level of preparedness for their credentialing exam. In addition to detailing areas of weakness, the program provides a breakdown of score by topic and subtopic so the user can target those areas in their final preparation. Information is captured with each keystroke during the practice exams allowing the participant to review their specific test-taking habits (i.e. how they are changing answers, what their score would have been if they had not changed answers, time per topic, question types they get wrong and how they performed relative to cardinal test-taking rules.) The comprehensive review section provides thorough explanations to ensure that the participant fully understands the rationale of the question. A full, interactive test-taking tutorial is also included and is designed to improve the user’s overall test-taking skills. Each exam can be taken up to eight times in test mode with unlimited access to all exams in review mode.

By using this ExamSim program to prepare for your credentialing exam, you will have studied the key concepts, focused on your areas of weakness, and used your study time efficiently.

Vascular Reference Guide
The Vascular Technology Guide provides a concise resource with ”at your fingertips” access to vascular anatomy, disease etiology, testing and interpretation, correlative testing modalities, testing optimization, vascular pharmacology, and more. QR codes are used throughout this book to allow viewing of video clips or pathology and duplex findings. The text consists of 395 pages with over 850 images and 160 tables of comprehensive information.
