MSK ULTRASOUND HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
This two-day, hands-on workshop by Jamie Bie, President of Learn MSK Sono, features instruction on musculoskeletal ultrasound of the upper and lower extremities. Topics include shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot, and peripheral nerves. Experienced faculty, using state-of-the-art equipment, will demonstrate scanning and interventional techniques in real-time. Participants receive hands-on training at a 3:1 instructor to participant ratio.

This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of anatomy, scanning tips, and common pathology. Registration includes a copy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: A Comprehensive Guide to MSK Imaging and Interventional Techniques. This 840-page text features fully illustrated protocols, a MSK Ultrasound physics overview, anatomy review by section, transducer and ultrasound overlays to clarify positioning and structure recognition, and CheckPoints noted throughout the text which provide critical technical tips. This text is approved for a maximum of 20 SDMS CME credits.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Identify normal prenatal cardiac anatomy
• Demonstrate the five sequential views of the screening fetal echo ultrasound
• Describe the ultrasound views required to assess the outflow tracts, three vessel view, and four chamber view
• Apply techniques for image optimization of the fetal cardiac ultrasound exam
• Identify pathology that is critical for referral to a fetal cardiac specialist

Target Audience
This course is designed for sonographers, physicians, and healthcare professionals desiring to improve their knowledge of screening for fetal cardiac disease.
