Abdomen Review eCourse:
The Abdomen Review eCourse, taught by Robert De Jong RDMS, RDCS, RVT, consists of ten modules providing a comprehensive review of Abdominal Pathology, Neck, MSK Invasive Procedures, and completed with a module focusing specifically on Test-Taking Strategies. The Pegasus Direct player offers the ability to bookmark topics which you identify as areas of weakness or of particular interest. The player software recalls your bookmarks, creating a focus session, customized to your individual needs or weaknesses. Participant also receives a link to the presentation in printable PowerPoint format.

Abdomen ExamSim Program:
The Abdomen ExamSim Program begins with a Test-Taking Strategies section (approx. 45 minutes) to improve test-taking skills. Logic and reasoning techniques are taught, with specific approaches for multiple choice exams. The section concludes with interactive questions which allow the participant to practice and implement the techniques just learned.
The simulated practice exam is weighted according to the ARDMS content outline. In addition to detailing areas of weakness, the program provides a breakdown of score by topic and subtopic so the user can target those areas in their final preparation. During the practice exams, information is captured with each keystroke allowing the user to review their test-taking habits (i.e. how they are changing answers, what their score would have been if they had not changed answers, time per topic, question types they get wrong and how they performed relative to cardinal test-taking rules.)
Additionally, there is a review section which gives thorough explanations to ensure that the participant fully understands the rationale of the question. The exam can be accessed for a score eight times (24 hrs of testing per exam) with unlimited access to the comprehensive review which displays the test questions, the answers you selected, the correct answers, and a detailed explanation for each item.
