He discusses fertilization and embryonic sonographic findings including early placentation and assessment of the chorio-amniotic separation, gestational sac, decidual signs, yolk, and embryo. Signs of gestational viability are reviewed with discussions of cardiovascular activity, embryonic anatomy, and biometric measurements. The module concludes with sonographic examples of mean sac diameter and crown rump length measurements.
