Suspicion of the occurrence of athletic pubalgia or a sports hernia is the most common indication for evaluation of the medial hip and thigh. Assessment of the gracilis, adductor longus, adductor brevis, and adductor magnus tendons is demonstrated with care given to identify common sites of injury.
