Part I of the Interventional section focuses on the practical aspect of incorporating interventional techniques in your practice including room set up, personnel, in plane vs. out of plane technique, and medication benefits vs. side effects. Sample injection needle and transducer placement is demonstrated. Part II covers injection technique and additional needle and transducer placement instruction. Additional topics include tendon fenestration and platelet rich plasma (PRP) growth factors. In the final module, Dr. Wilde demonstrates and narrates the procedure for cortisone injection of the shoulder under ultrasound guidance.
