Beginning with the clinical presentation and physical signs of congenital dislocation, Dr. Wilde reviews the coronal and transverse protocols and the Graf, Harcke, and Terjesen methods of assessment. The AIUM Practice Guidelines are discussed with sonographic images to demonstrate the protocols. Pathology demonstrated includes dislocation, degrees of hip subluxation, low alpha angle, and capsular laxity.
