Following a review of pertinent knee anatomy, the sonographic appearance of the musculoskeletal structures surrounding the knee are identified. Jamie Maloney details the patient positioning, transducer selection, and protocols for evaluation of the anterior, medial, lateral, and posterior knee. Attention is given to provide technical tips to aid in imaging optimizations and well as noting diagnostic parameters that should be included and/or measured if pathology is encountered.
