Marsha Holton has been a critical care nurse since 1979 with 15 years in the cathlab and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Howard Community College in their School of Cardiovascular Technology. Marsha is a published author and has served as the editor of journals published by Lippincott, Williams and Wilkie, Physician Press, and the Cath Lab Digest. She is a contributing author of The Invasive Manual for CathLab Professionals, writing the chapter on patient assessment, released July 2005. She is currently studying the repetitive use injury potential in the cathlab and is working with a multidisciplinary occupational health committee, including cardiology physician groups and government agencies to identify the risks and look for solutions for these problems. Marsha is currently part of the seminar faculty at TCT, NCVH, EuroPCR, CRT, SICP scientific sessions.
