Description: Key in MSK ultrasound imaging is familiarity with the detailed anatomy of the muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Each section begins by covering normal anatomy, followed by a ScanLab (or multiple ScanLab modules depending on the area of interest) demonstrating the technique by which to evaluate the sonographic appearance of normal anatomy. The pathomechanism of acute and/or chronic injury or disease is covered in pathology modules with case examples of abnormal sonographic appearance to aid in the recognition of musculoskeletal pathology.
