Stay cool this summer and deep dive into Cardiac Hemodynamics! The summer package includes:
• Cardiac Hemodynamics eCourse
• Adult Echo Pocket Reference, 4th edition
• Adult Echocardiography Case Study Program
Cardiac Hemodynamics eCourse:
The Cardiac Hemodynamics eCourse is a seven module series by Mark Harry, RDCS, RVT, REEGT designed to provide the foundation for acquiring a cardiac hemodynamic profile during the echocardiographic exam. The series begins with a module on Cardiac Pressures, followed by modules covering Diastolic Filling, Aortic Stenosis, Aortic Regurgitation, Subaortic Stenosis, Mitral Stenosis, and Mitral Regurgitation. Etiology and diagnostic criteria for each type of pathology is discussed with technical and system optimization tips integrated throughout the series. Mark emphasizes the importance of analyzing the patient’s clinical presentation with the hemodynamic data generated in order to deliver an accurate cardiac hemodynamic profile. A cardiac hemodynamic worksheet is provided to aid in calculating right-sided, left-sided and pulmonary pressures. Case presentations demonstrate the real-life application of the quantification techniques taught throughout the series.

Adult Echo Pocket Reference, 4th Edition:
A "Must-Have" for anyone performing Adult Echocardiographic studies! The fourth edition of The Echocardiographer’s Pocket Reference provides the American Society of Echocardiography recommendations for valvular stenosis, left ventricular diastolic function, right heart chamber systolic and diastolic evaluation. Additional topics covered include quantification of coronary artery segmentation, prosthetic heart valves, transcatheter interventions, three-dimensional echocardiography, contrast echocardiography and cardiac mechanics. The “How To” section has been updated to reflect the ASE recommendations. This concise but comprehensive review of cardiac pathology is a must-have for any sonographer involved in adult echocardiography!

Adult Echo Case Study CD:
Adult Echo Case Study Program - This CD contains 50 case studies designed to help prepare candidates for the video portion of the Adult Echocardiography certification exam. The author, Terry Reynolds of the Arizona Heart Institute and faculty member of Pegasus Lectures has developed multiple-choice questions to complement each case study, creating an in-depth self-assessment program. There are more than 200 questions included. This collection of case studies is ideal to expand your library of clinical pathology as well as an excellent tool for assessing the clinical knowledge of students, sonographers, or potential employees. (This CD is not compatible with MAC computers.)
