This musculoskeletal (MSK) package, consisting of ten MSK sections, is structured to provide a strong foundation of the fundamentals of MSK ultrasound from which interpretation skills are developed.
MSK Sections include:
Soft Tissue Characterization
Wrist, Hand, and Fingers
Lower Leg, Ankle, and Foot
Key in MSK ultrasound imaging is familiarity with the detailed anatomy of the muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Each section begins by covering normal anatomy, followed by a ScanLab (or multiple ScanLab modules depending on the area of interest) demonstrating the technique by which to evaluate the sonographic appearance of normal anatomy. The pathomechanism of acute and/or chronic injury or disease is covered in pathology modules with case examples of abnormal sonographic appearance to aid in the recognition of musculoskeletal pathology.
Viewing Time (MSK Didactic and ScanLabs): 29 hours
Customized Review (optional): 22 hours
Total Viewing: 51 hours
