Bob DeJong, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS, discusses scanning techniques, landmarks and laboratory values for gallbladder and biliary disease. Findings and complications of biliary and hepatic obstruction are reviewed. Additional topics include pancreatic causes of obstruction, biliary atresia, pneumobilia, gallbladder carcinoma, gallstones, acute cholecystitis and artifacts encountered during the gallbladder and biliary exam.
